This weekend there is a virtual event happening, here in Australia, that has the fibre community very excited and eagerly awaiting Saturday.
I will be "vending" at this event (all be it online) with 2 NEW collections dyed up and ready to be shipped. Being this is my first time vending at an event such as this I am unsure what to expect and how much yarn to dye. So if I run out of "ready to ship" skeins I will of course be happy to open pre-orders for those wanting the colours and happy to wait a few weeks to receive them.
So what are the new collections...
CLASSICS Collection - If you are looking for some beautiful classic colours to make garments these are my interpretation of those classic very wearable tones. The collection comprises of 6 beautiful semi-solid tonal colours, that will pair beautifully for shawls, make amazing jumpers and are just lovely for a pair of socks. With this range you cannot go wrong. I always suggest the Helical knitting technique is used if you are using more than a skein as with tonals subtle pooling can occur.
WOODLAND WHIMSY Collection - This collection has gorgeous dusky pastels that all coordinate beautifully. I envisage stunning shawls, socks, beanies and sweaters in this range. There are 6 semi-solid tonals, 4 variegated and 1 speckled colour ways in this collection. All the yarns are designed to pair beautifully with each other and if you are interested in seeing some combinations check out the gallery page.
During this weekend I will also be running a couple of GIVEAWAYS! to celebrate The Big Wool Show.
Every order made over the weekend of the 4th and 5th September, during the Big Wool Show will go into the draw to win a Project bag and Mini Skein Set from the NEW! Woodland Whimsy (Pictured above).
